KRITIS instead of Carnival

While Carnival was being celebrated in many places across Germany, the EuroSkyPark team was busy with a KRITIS assignment – a little less fun, but very successful: the technicians’ task was to bring EuroSkyPark’s data centers up to the latest security standards.

“The technical adaptation and, of course, certification of our data centers is part of the comprehensive security package for our customers,” says Can Grain, Deputy Head of the Network Operation Center (NOC). “Our systems not only comply with all new legal requirements, but also deliver the highest level of security.”

That’s why there was no question about which system to use for the redundant connection. “The best solution currently available on the market,” sums up Head of Development Benjamin Wahrheit: “Satellite communication from EuroSkyPark. No joke!”

Sales force for France's energy landscape: EuroSkyPark France fills sales positions with outstanding engineering expertise

Rachid Fourati: Clear goals, in-depth technical knowledge and a passion for customer service are the hallmarks of EuroSkyPark France’s new head of sales. With his innovative communication solutions for KRITIS, he aims to establish EuroSkyPark as the leading provider in the French market.

Rachid Fourati is an industrial engineer specialising in energy technology and a sales expert with in-depth knowledge of the French market. He studied at RWTH Aachen University, where he also completed his master’s degree. At the same time, he gained work experience in the European energy market, particularly in France.
Fourati joined EuroSkyPark in 2025. As head of sales, he is currently working hard to develop strong sales structures. ‘At EuroSkyPark, I can combine my passion for sales and customer consulting with my engineering expertise,’ says Fourati, emphasising what he particularly enjoys about his job. ‘EuroSkyPark’s technical solutions are highly innovative. This combination of technical relevance and high customer benefit appealed to me immediately.’

Market with potential

France has great potential in both the onshore and offshore sectors. Extensive investments and numerous new projects are planned for the coming years. By 2030, the share of renewable energies in final energy consumption is expected to rise to around 41%. Accordingly, there is a need for highly available and fail-safe backup communication solutions. ‘I want to establish EuroSkyPark as a reference provider on the French market,’ says Fourati, describing his ambition. ‘With hybrid solutions combining satellites and LTE, we are ideally positioned to effectively support KRITIS providers in the secure, stable and highly available transmission of SCADA, video and audio data.’

Upgrade for Global Tech I: EuroSkyPark modernises entire connection technology

Fifteen years ago, the Global Tech I wind farm was built in the North Sea as one of the first offshore power plants of its kind. As a pioneer, EuroSkyPark supported the operator from the outset with satellite communication links – the beginning of a reliable partnership that has lasted for twelve years.
